Southern Draw Cigars – NO price increase for 2021 – minimal increase in shipping rates

Price Increase for all shipping ONLY: Retail Customers

AUSTIN, TX – Southern Draw Cigars provides notice to all Retail Customers of a permanent price change to take effect February 1, 2021.  

The planned price adjustments are for shipping ONLY and are in response to increased transportation and shipping expenses levied for air cargo, UPS, and USPS services due to the corona-virus pandemic and respective average annual price increases. As a result of these changing market conditions, Southern Draw is planning a small 1% price increase, a new effective shipping rate of 4% of each order will be applied on all retail shipments. Wholesale and retail prices of cigars will be unaffected.

The planned price increase will go into effect at 12:00AM Central on February 1, 2021 and remain in place until further notice. 

As the valued retail partners continue to respond and plan for the recovery from the challenges of the pandemic, the Southern Draw family does not believe it is an appropriate time to implement the planned annual price increase for its cigar lines.  In lieu of the planned price increase and any subsequent specials or discounts that were been planned for 2021, Southern Draw has determined this to be our best course of action, allowing retail partners the greatest ease in supporting the brand and their customers without the higher prices.
