ETHAN “JACOB” HOLT TO JOIN SOUTHERN DRAW CIGARS IN OCTOBER
AUSTIN, TX – September 23, 2021 – Southern Draw Cigars is elated to announce that Ethan “Jacob” Holt, son of Robert and Sharon Holt, will combine his IT/Security/Mobile Device expertise with a new role of Manager, Inside Sales & Retail Partner Engagement. After six years with major consumer electronics retailer, Ethan will now dedicate his attention and skills full-time to the family business which is based in Austin TX.

Ethan Jacob, the inspiration and namesake of the wildly popular Jacobs Ladder cigars selection has been quietly supporting the company since its inception, and will help Southern Draw grow and improve on what they already do so well. More recently, he detected and helped protect the company against a financial fraud that exceeded $150,000.
“Working side by side with my son is a dream come true!” beamed Boss Lady, Sharon Holt. “I am very much looking forward to his invaluable contribution as we continue to grow and strengthen the SDC family brand. Ethan already plans to add other great people to his team, which will help us deepen our own connection to retailers and partners through training, events, and by serving as the initial contact for new retail. This will be especially important for inquires specifically in territories that do not have the support of a representative or broker.”
“October 1, 2021 is Ethan’s target start date,” added Robert Holt. “Additionally, he will continue providing his technical and threat detection services to the company in his new role.”
