Alec Bradley Cigar Co. Gets Ready to Ship 11th Fine & Rare Cigar Release
2,500 Boxes of the Eleventh Iteration of Signature Limited Edition to Release in April 2022
Fort Lauderdale, FL (January 22, 2022) -- Alec Bradley Cigar Co. today announced that they will be issuing the 11th release of Fine & Rare in April 2022. Originally scheduled to arrive at appointed tobacconists by November 18, 2021, packaging for the newest Fine & Rare iteration, dubbed “BC-(13)4EV,” has been affected by supply chain issues plaguing the premium cigar industry. Featuring a collectable high-gloss, two-tone blue box and ornate cigar bands, only 2,500 Fine & Rare BC-(13)EV sets will be presented for global distribution.
“Alec Bradley brand advocates have come to expect the arrival of the annual release Fine & Rare to tobacconists in November,” said Alec Bradley founder, Alan Rubin. “We are disappointed by the delay, but we are still very excited to bring BC-(13)4EV to market!”The first "Churchill" in the Fine & Rare series, the 7" x 50 ring-gauge BC-(13)4EV showcases an astonishing ten distinct tobaccos. The blend features a stunning estate grown wrapper from Trojes, Honduras, adorning a blend of rare binder and filler leaves from Nicaragua and Honduras. All the tobaccos for the ultra-premium offering have been specifically chosen to achieve extraordinary flavor, complexity and balance.
Additionally, Mr. Rubin indicated that, unlike previous 10-count Fine & Rare sets, the upcoming release will include a very special eleventh cigar, called BC-(13)4EV-B, celebrating the 11th anniversary of the project. BC-(13)4EV-B's size and blend are not being disclosed at this time.First released in 2011, Fine & Rare is an iterative project that Mr. Rubin created to push the boundaries of cigar blending. Each version of Fine & Rare contains 10 unique tobaccos, an amount more than any other blend in the world. Due to the complex nature of Fine & Rare, only a single pair of master rollers have ever been entrusted to construct them.
Alec Bradley will be urging tobacconists to sell the entire 11 cigar experience as a single unit. Only twenty-five thousand BC-(13)4EV and 2500 BC-(13)4EV-B cigars were produced for the forthcoming release.
For the US market, MSRP has been set to $260 per box, before any applicable taxes. International prices will vary. Presale of Fine & Rare BC-(13)4EV to appointed tobacconists worldwide will begin shortly and are scheduled to ship in April 2022. Fine & Rare is being produced at Fabrica De Tobaccos Raices Cubanas- Danli, Honduras.
“We want to assure our tobacconist partners and consumer supporters that Alec Bradley has not ceased the annual tradition of Fine & Rare," Mr. Rubin continued. "BC-(13)4EV will be worth the wait!”
