AARON SIGMOND ENVISIONS “THE ULTIMATE HUMIDOR” IN HIS NEW BOOK, THE IMPOSSIBLE COLLECTION OF CIGARS
Joining the rarefied ranks of
the Assouline elite Ultimate Collection authors, Aaron
Sigmond envisions the ultimate humidor
brimming with the most remarkable cigars of the twentieth and twenty-first
centuries: The Impossible Collection of CIGARS:
Like the pop of the Champagne cork, the flick of the lighter (or strike of the match) and the first draw of smoke are synonymous with celebration, relaxation, and camaraderie. A luxurious pause from the world outside, an exceptional, hand-rolled cigar has, over the course of centuries, cemented itself as a civilized passion and genteel hobby. Considering the differences and attributes of cigars as diverse as Nicaragua’s Padrón, the Dominican Republic’s Arturo Fuente, Davidoff of Geneva, Honduras’s Rocky Patel, the Bahamas’ Graycliff, and of course Cuba’s portfolio of legendary smokes, Sigmond’s is a list any connoisseur could only dream of.

“Authoring The
Impossible Collection of CIGARS—both working with the Assouline team on the
production and reaching out to old cigar-industry colleagues—was a dream come
true, as well as a homecoming,” Sigmond said. “In many ways this book—an objet
d’art, really—is my love letter to an industry and a personal passion that
has given me so much happiness and so many memories.”
This hand-bound oversize luxury edition, featuring hand-tipped and
authentic cigar bands and presented in a unique “Assouline” traditional dress
trade cigar-style box -- the costliest book ever produced on the subject
of cigars—will be a must-have for the collection of any cigar aficionado.
