ALEC BRADLEY FINE AND RARE CIGAR TO RETURN IN NOVEMBER

Alec Bradley’s Ten Tobacco Masterpiece to Return to Tobacconist Shelves in November

Fort Lauderdale, FL -- Alan Rubin, founder of Alec Bradley Cigar Co. had a vision to make the most complex cigar in the world. The term ‘complexity’ in cigars typically describes flavor, but Alan wanted it to also describe the intricacies and obstacles of blending his masterpiece: the Alec Bradley Fine & Rare.

A family owned and operated business founded in 1996, Alec Bradley has been at the forefront of innovation in the premium cigar category. From triangular cigars to diamond shaped cigars and to a cigar line that once had all sizes retail for the same dollar amount, Alec Bradley is known to push the envelope. In 2011, Alan introduced the novel concept of Fine & Rare- a cigar with an unheard of ten different tobaccos.

Since then, enthusiasts await the announcement of the annual Limited Edition release. Fine & Rare is an ever evolving project. The concept of Fine & Rare is more than the cigar itself. From iteration to iteration, Fine & Rare has seen different shapes, sizes and blends. Each year, ten specially aged and selected tobaccos are chosen. The tobaccos are then rolled into a shape that represents the blend the best. 2019 sees the inaugural release of Fine & Rare HOF/506, a 6 ¼” x 54 Ring Gauge Boxed Press Gran Toro.

The Fine & Rare HOF/506 is an especially meaningful release to the Rubin family and the Alec Bradley family as a whole. The cigar is dedicated to the life and legacy of Alan’s father, David Rubin, who passed away in late 2018.

“The 2019 release is the most important of the Fine & Rare releases since its inception,” Alan said. “This is an homage and dedication to David Rubin, my father; who inspired me to always work hard and never give up- so we strive to be the best. My true commemorative piece in honor of my father David Rubin. We love and miss you; Alan Rubin and family."

A photo of David Rubin is prominently displayed on the front of the band, on the back are the words: “In Honor Of David Rubin.”

Due to the precision necessary to construct the blend, Fine & Rare HOF/506 is only entrusted to a single duet of master rollers. Official releasing in November, Fine & Rare HOF/506 features a silky smooth estate grown wrapper from Trojes, Honduras, draped over select and proprietary tobaccos from Nicaragua and Honduras. Only 2,500 ten-count boxes were produced for global distribution and are exclusive to Appointed Tobacconists. US SRP has been set at $21.90 per cigar before any applicable taxes.

Fine & Rare is artfully created at the critically acclaimed Raices Cubanas Factory in DanlĂ, Honduras. Raices Cubanas produces, among others, the 96 Rated Alec Bradley Prensado Churchill- Cigar Aficionado “Cigar of the Year 2011” and the 94 Rated Alec Bradley Tempus Natural Centuria- Cigar Aficionado “#5 Cigar of the Year 2017.”
