Critically Acclaimed Alec Bradley Black Market Estelí Diamond Cigar to Return in June

Alec Bradley Cigar Co. to Release Second Limited Edition Release of Black Market Estelí Diamond Proprietary Diamond Shaped Cigar Slated for June 2021 Release

Fort Lauderdale, FL (March 25, 2021)- Alec Bradley Cigar Co. today announced that the second release of the Limited Edition Black Market Estelí Diamond is slated for June 2021. Only 1500, sixteen-count boxes will be produced for global consumption in 2021. Alec Bradley confirms that tobacconists are currently being offered the opportunity to secure allocations of Black Market Estelí Diamond boxes.

Based on the Cigar Aficionado 93-Rated Black Market Estelí blend, the first edition of the Estelí Diamond was announced in March of 2020 for a June 2020 release. Subsequently, due to Covid19, production was interrupted, and the cigars weren’t shipped to tobacconists until October 2020.

“The 2020 Black Market Estelí Diamond cigars were an immediate success,” said Alec Bradley Director of Sales & Marketing, Jonathan Lipson. “Covid19 disruptions changed the game for us in 2020, but consumer demand for the limited edition cigars and the ability to slot production in 2021 happily allows us to target a June release. We are elated that we are able to provide this treat to our partners and advocates!”

Due to the unique shape, the Black Market Estelí Diamond requires extra care in the manufacturing process. The base Black Market Estelí blend is rolled with an extra filler leaf of Ligero Habano from Nicaragua and then carefully pressed to its diamond shape before aging. The proprietary diamond shape pays homage to the Alec Bradley Trilogy, an innovative triangular shaped cigar created by founder, Alan Rubin.

The 1500 boxes of Black Market Estelí Diamond cigars are currently being allocated to tobacconists worldwide. The 6 1/4" X 54 ring gauge, medium to full bodied Diamond features a dark natural wrapper from Nicaragua, a double binder combination of Honduran and Nicaraguan leaves and fillers from Nicaragua. Black Market Estelí Diamonds are being presented in 16 count diamond shaped boxes and will retail in the US, before any applicable taxes, for $10.15 per cigar. Alec Bradley Black Market Estelí Diamond cigars are being produced at Plasencia Cigars Nicaragua.
